CRUFTS 2009 QUALIFIER
CRUFTS 2009 QUALIFIER
It was a fabulous day for Maisie's breeders Maria & Ralph Taylor of the Hillplace Kennels as Paul White & Naomi Grady's boy, Hillplace Captain Scarlet came 1st PGD, qualifying him for Crufts 2009.
Maria & Ralph's own Hillplace Iron Oxide and litter sister Hillplace Ironic for Cholto (Maisie) were 2nd & 3rd in Junior bitch, beaten only by the subsequent BCC winner Sodburybull Jasmine. Hillplace Ironic for Cholto then came 1st PGB. Qualifying her twice over for Crufts 2009. Elder full sister Champion Hillplace Iron Lady was then 1st in the open class and in the challenge secured the RBCC .
Well made brindle with lovely sour expression. Clean cut head with wide jaw and good upsweep. Flat skull and rose ears. strong front, deep brisket and good bone. Tacked on shoulders and big ribs, just a tad long in back. A little lethargic on the move but sound. - Judith Daws
